Kenny Hauk, owner and founder of Hauk Designs, comes from a family of builders. His father, Ken, taught him the value of quality workmanship at a young age, stressing that the right way, although never the easiest, is always the best way. He instilled in him attention to detail and taught him how to build things that last. Hauk put these principles into practice while modifying his Jeep Wrangler to improve its off-road capability. However, the poor quality of many of the aftermarket parts disappointed him, so Hauk began making his own parts. Finding himself unemployed from his construction trade, in 2006, Hauk turned his attention full-time to designing products to meet his own high standards for the Jeep market. Today, Hauk Designs is one of the most accomplished auto builders around. Hauk Designs is also featured on the television show Road Hauks on the History Channel.
Ben Shadday, owner of Done Right Diesel Performance in Osgood, Ind., has worked in the diesel performance industry for years. He puts his extensive experience and knowledge into practice building some of the most impressive and decorated diesels in the competition world. Shadday’s 2006 Dodge Ram set an Outlaw Diesel Super Series Pro Mod record in 2018 after going 4.71 at 155 mph at the TS Performance Shootout. His Cummins-powered rig has become a fixture on the racing scene, making more than 2,000 horsepower and powering him into the competition spotlight.
