The snow-capped mountains of the Canadian and American West have captivated people for millennia. Their majesty draws skiers, climbers, sightseers, snowboarders and, of course, snowmobilers.
The deep mountain powder is where riders go to test their meddle among some of the most pristine scenery in North America. As great as it is to ride the lakes and trail systems in the Midwestern or Eastern parts of North America, nearly every rider’s bucket list includes backcountry snowmobiling in the mountains.
Grizzly Lodge, in British Columbia, Canada offers riders just that chance. Under crystal-blue skies and framed by snow-laden evergreens, riders get the chance to find out what real backcountry snowmobiling is all about. We decided to head there and see for ourselves. In short, we weren’t disappointed. This video offers just a taste of what awaits riders who heed the call of the mountains and head west. Look for more soon.
